Rates:
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include continental breakfast and use of all facilities plus access to surrounding walking tracks.
Rates are for 1 or 2 people only. Rates include 15% GST.

Adults Only:
Given the luxury furnishings and types of unique location of Fallow Ridge Retreat, it is very much an adults-only accommodation. However, children over the age of 16 are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Pets:
Fallow Ridge Retreat sits on a working sheep and beef farm which means pets are strictly prohibited for their own safety and that of our stock and wildlife.

No Smoking Policy:
This is a non-smoking property.

PAYMENT POLICY

A 50% deposit for accommodation is required before the booking can be confirmed. The remaining 50% will be charged one week prior to your stay. In the instance where the booking is made less than 7 days before the stay the full amount will be charged at the time of booking.

Any goods purchased through the minibar will be charged to the same credit card that the booking was made with. This will occur in the 7 days after your stay.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 50% of the total booking price will be charged.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% of the total booking price will be charged.
Credit Card details supplied will be used to charge any cancellation fees.
Fallow Ridge Retreat reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions. In this case, a full refund will be given.

Arrival and departure times

Fallow Ridge Retreat is a private keyless access accommodation. It is recommended that guests arrive before dark.

Check-in time is from 3pm. Check-out time is 11 am. We will do our very best to accommodate requests for an early check-in or late check-out.

Liability

Fallow Ridge Retreat accept no responsibility for loss or damage to guest property during the rental period.

You acknowledge that the Fallow Ridge Retreat property is unsupervised and that there are inherent risks in in the surrounding environment, particularly towards edges of rock outcrops.

You will use all walking tracks at your own risk in the knowledge that there may be safety risks, and that tracks may not be suitable for ill prepared, unfit or inexperienced walkers.

You agree to take due care at all times for your own safety while using the facilities at Fallow Ridge Retreat.

You acknowledge that you will be staying at Fallow Ridge Retreat at your own risk. To the extent permitted by NZ law, Fallow Ridge Retreat disclaims all liability for any loss or damage suffered (including physical injury and liability for negligence) while staying here.

To the extent permitted by NZ law, you will indemnify Fallow Ridge Retreat for any loss or damage suffered by Fallow Ridge Retreat in relation to your stay except to the extent caused by the wilful default of Fallow Ridge Retreat.

 

Additional Charges

Additional charges will be applied if there is damage to the retreat or any equipment, contents, fixtures or fittings etc.

Obvious indiscriminate mess left in the Retreat will attract an excess cleaning charge for any extra cleaning required over and above the ordinary course of cleaning the property.

You will be notified of such charges within 48hours of check-out.
